Al-Qaws القوس
Al-Qaws (“The Bow”) brings Arabic calligraphy into a bow-and-arrow composition. Warm ivory against true black.

About Marqum
An enduring language. A contemporary expression.
Marqum is rooted in Islam, with Arabic as its language of expression. We draw on a tradition in which words preserve knowledge, deepen understanding and invite reflection on how we live.
Through illustrative calligraphy, we give those words a form that can be worn. Each piece carries a message worth returning to: patience through difficulty, conviction in belief, intention in everyday life.
That meaning guides the design. It is there to catch the eye, stay in the mind, and accompany the wearer.
Our perspective is Islamic. Our clothing welcomes anyone who finds meaning in its message.
The phrase behind the design
الصَّبْرُ وَالإِيمَانُ كَالرَّأْسِ وَالجَسَدِ لَا خَيْرَ فِي جَسَدٍ إِذَا فَاتَ الرَّأْسُ
“Patience and faith are like the head and the body; there is no good in a body when the head is gone.”
The phrase presents patience as essential to faith, just as the head is essential to the body.
